Vocalist & Percussionist Gerry Cruz brings his Neo SOULIFIED R&B and LATIN Swing band back to the Bean Runner Café. Born and raised in the heart of Hell's Kitchen, NYC, Gerry Cruz's soulful vocals and prolific percussion playing has led him to share the stage with such wonderful artists as Rachel Platten (Fight Song), Marc Anthony, Ruben Blades, La India, and Morris Day & the Time. Signed to the Sony Music Latin label, Gerry released 2 albums as the premier lead vocalist behind the Salsa Pop group, F2F (Face 2 Face). The albums, Amame Una Vez Mas and Espejismo, hit the Radio Countdown charts in New York at # 3 for 5 consecutive weeks, 12 weeks at #1 overseas. Gerry has performed live at Univision?s ?Sabado Gigante, Telemundo, and numerous variety shows in Europe, South America, the Caribbean, Canada and of course, the US. The band covers tunes from John Legend, Prince, Maxwell, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, D'Angelo, Meshell Ndegeocello, Santana, as well originals. $10 admission
