The Second Annual Peekskill Film Festival
The Field Library presents the Peekskill Film Festival July 28--30, 2017, featuring over 50 films, educational workshops, panels, student film blocks, parties, and more. The Peekskill Film Festival (PFF) was founded in 2015 to promote film literacy in the vibrant and historic Hudson River city of Peekskill, NY, and screens a first-rate mix of features, shorts, documentaries, and animation. 2017's PFF expands its vision even further, seeking to encourage filmmakers whose voices have traditionally been underserved in more mainstream festivals: immigrants, people of color, women and the LGBTQ community. The PFF also welcomes international films and filmmakers. For more information, the entire weekend’s schedule, film and workshop descriptions, and how to buy tickets, visit www.peekskillfilmfestival.org, and interact on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
