"The Four Dutch Governors" Lecture
Join us for a lecture on The Four Dutch Governors by local historian Leon DiMartino on Saturday, August 18 at 5pm! Mr. DiMartino will share the history of the Dutch Colony of New Netherlands, the four Dutch Governors and how the Dutch organized and ran what would later on become an English Colony. Four of these Dutch Governors ruled between 1625–1664 and put their mark on how we would develop in the years to come. Learn who they were and how they left their mark on our history on August 18th at PHM! Admission is free for museum members and is $10 for the general public.
