Croton on Hudson

Tea Town Eagle Fest – February - Croton Point Park with satellite viewing areas at George’s Island in Montrose and Peekskill’s Riverfront Green. Come out and see these amazing residents of the Hudson Valley.  Visit http://www.teatown.org/eaglefest.htm for more information.

Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze – Weekends in October - 100’s of pumpkins are ablaze at this annual event.  Must be seen to believe, at Van Cortlandt Manor visit them on the web at www.hudsonvalley.org and follow the links to Van Cortlandt Manor. 

Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival –Croton Point Park.  Visit: www.clearwater.org.  

Cortlandt

Peekskill

Peekskill Artist Open Studios Tour – June-  Offers visitors a wide range of choices including furniture designers, musical instrument makers, dancers, video artists, painters, sculptors, and photographers. Many of their works can be seen in the city’s numerous galleries.  Peekskill’s pedestrian friendly Historic Downtown District is also to home to a number of permanent public art installations, sculptures, and murals.  The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Arts located just outside downtown offers it patrons some of the most exciting contemporary exhibits and installations in the metropolitan region.  www.cityofpeekskill.com.

Peekskill Celebration Carnival Memorial Day/Columbus Day Weekends --Peekskill Riverfront Green, - Rides, games, and fun for the entire family along with great food to satisfy your taste buds.  For on wristband times, and other exciting events visit:  www.peekskillcelebration.com.

Riverfront Concert and Family Series – held each  Monday and Wednesday evening in July.  The series features local and regional talent set against the majestic Hudson River at the Riverfront Green next to the Peekskill Train Station. Visit: www.cityofpeekskill.com for updated information.

Peekskill Celebration - held the 1st weekend in August.  The Hudson Valley’s best Family Fun Festival along the banks of the Hudson River.  Features:  Dragon Boat Races, World Class Entertainment, and the best Fireworks in the Hudson Valley sponsored annually by Entergy. Festa Italiana –  August - Celebrate Italian heritage and culture. Visit website at: www.peekskillfestival.com for more information.

Peekskill St. Patrick's Parade - Watch the Peekskill St. Patrick's Parade on the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day, throughout downtown Peekskill.  Bands, bagpipers, schools, community groups, dignitaries, police, fire and EMS personnel and vehicles.  For information visit:  www.saintpatricksdayparade.com    

Hudson Valley Irish Festival – Held in September featuring the Hudson Valley’s finest live Irish music, crafts, food & drink at Peekskill’s Riverfront Green.  Visit us at: www.hudsonvalleyirishfest.com for more information.

Peekskill Rotary Horse Show & County Fair  – held in Blue Mountain Park each fall this event, now in its 41st year, is a staple of fall events for the area.  Visit www.peekskillrotary.com for more information.
