This month: MetroPool - announcing "Car Free Day Hudson Valley"! This month's host is MetroPool, Inc., a local non-profit that promotes sustainable transportation in the Hudson Valley and beyond. MetroPool representatives will discuss several exciting initiatives available in the region, including the FIRST annual Car Free Day Hudson Valley. Car Free Day is an international event celebrated every September 22nd. This will be the first year we celebrate in the Hudson Valley, and we are counting on YOU to help make it a success! Please come with your ideas and enthusiasm. To celebrate sustainable transportation in the Hudson Valley, we encourage you to take Metro-North’s Hudson line to the event.
